The Frugal Crafter 8''x 8" Gel Plate is versatile gel plate which you can use for a variety of stamping and mixed media printing techniques. With this versatile plate you can create easy ink blended backgrounds as well as custom layered prints, ink lift patterns and kiss stamping effects.
Use a brayer to apply different colours of ink onto the media plate to create textured backgrounds with water based ink and simply press onto your paper or directly onto a card front to create a textured background. Spritz with water to create a more pale watercolour effect or use without for bolder colours. The media plate will hold the ink so will transfer whatever you apply to it onto your cardstock, meaning you can stamp detailed patterns or images onto the plate to then apply layered patterns to your projects.
